How to lose belly fat!
That last bit of fat that lingers on our bellies causes much frustration!
Here I will give you some top tips to help shift that last bit of winter love from around our middles and reveal a washboard stomach!
Cut out all refined sugars from your diet. Your best bet is to prep your own food so you know exactly what you are consuming.
Avoid sugary fizzy drinks and alcohol. Liquid forms of sugar actually have a worse affect on us than food sugar sources so avoid this at all costs.
Increase your intake of lean protein from sources like chicken, fish and egg whites. Protein has been proven to be the most important macro nutrient in the weight loss stakes! It helps us to feel fuller for longer and reduces cravings.
Reduce the amount of refined carbohydrates you consume. This means cutting down on foods such as white bread and pasta. This can also help to reduce the amount of water our body is holding which in turn will reduce our stomach circumference!
Be aware of your portion sizes. It’s more beneficial to eat 5 small meals per day instead of 3 big meals that our bodies struggle to digest. So think about grazing rather than stuffing yourself until you can’t move from your chair!
Drinking 2-4 litres of water per day is imperative for any weight loss venture. So make this a daily ritual.

It’s hugely important to combine exercise with healthy eating to get that beach body look!
A combination of aerobic and resistance training is the perfect way to get that body of your dreams.
Training 3-5 times per week is perfect. Anything from power walking, swimming, gym classes to weight training. As long as you are pushing yourself and challenging your body then you will see change.
As I always say consistency is key! So stick to the plan and the results will come.
